Call for Abstracts

2027 AAAI-D Annual Meeting

July 9, 2027 | Los Angeles, California

The American Academy of Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry® (AAAI-D) invites abstract submissions for presentation and inclusion in the proceedings of the inaugural AAAI-D Annual Meeting.

This interdisciplinary meeting will bring together clinicians, practice leaders, educators, researchers, health system leaders, dental support organization (DSO) executives, technology innovators, entrepreneurs, policymakers, students, and other stakeholders to explore the responsible advancement of artificial intelligence in oral healthcare.

AAAI-D welcomes submissions that advance the understanding, development, evaluation, implementation, governance, and real-world application of AI across dentistry and oral health.

Submissions are encouraged from academia, private practice, DSOs, health systems, government organizations, technology developers, startups, established organizations, and interdisciplinary teams.

Abstracts may describe original research, clinical applications, implementation initiatives, operational innovations, educational programs, technology evaluations, quality improvement projects, health system experiences, governance initiatives, and other work involving the use of artificial intelligence in oral healthcare.

Previously presented work may be submitted.

Important Dates

Abstract Submission Opens: July 9, 2026

Abstract Submission Deadline: September 30, 2026

Notification of Acceptance: November 15, 2026

Presentation Opportunities

Accepted abstracts will be presented as either poster presentations or oral presentations.

Authors may indicate their preferred presentation format at the time of submission. However, the final presentation format will be determined by the Scientific Program Committee based on abstract evaluations, programmatic considerations, and available presentation opportunities.

Outstanding submissions may be selected for oral presentation and integrated throughout the Annual Meeting program.

Authors of accepted abstracts will be required to register for the 2027 AAAI-D Annual Meeting in order to present their work. Presentation acceptance is contingent upon presenter registration by the designated deadline.

Proceedings

Accepted abstracts will be included in the electronic proceedings of the 2027 AAAI-D Annual Meeting.

Submissions highlighting practical implementation, measurable outcomes, workflow innovation, operational impact, and lessons learned from real-world adoption are particularly encouraged.

Abstracts should be educational in nature and relevant to the meeting audience. Submissions that are primarily promotional or commercial in nature may not be accepted.
