Make a Meaningful Contribution to the Future of Dental AI
AAAI-D welcomes individuals who want to help advance responsible, evidence-informed use of artificial intelligence in dentistry. Whether you are a clinician, educator, student, researcher, industry innovator, or someone who cares about professional and public education related to AI in Dentistry, there is a meaningful place for you. Our mission is educational and charitable, and the Academy thrives when dedicated people choose to get involved.
Ways You Can Participate
Volunteer Your Skills
Volunteers support projects including educational content, academic presentations, public communication materials, ethics and transparency initiatives, student/resident mentorship, community outreach, and administrative assistance. No technical background required—just interest and reliability.
Join a Working Group
Working groups focus on AI literacy, clinical education, public-facing explanations, workflow and safety considerations, curriculum development, and patient communication tools. These groups offer a neutral space for collaboration among clinicians, educators, students, and industry experts.
Mentorship Opportunities
The Academy supports a mentorship culture that connects students and residents with experienced clinicians; offers learning pathways for newcomers to AI literacy; and encourages cross-disciplinary mentorship and educational contributions.
Contribute Your Expertise
Professionals are invited to contribute evidence summaries, teaching modules, case examples, patient communication tools, curriculum aids, and literacy frameworks. All contributions must remain educational, neutral, and non-promotional.
Industry Supporters
Industry partners committed to supporting education may participate by sharing non-promotional educational materials; engaging in discussions about responsible AI use to enhance quality of care; and offering implementation or workflow insights. Participation does not imply endorsement.
Future Educational Framework Participation
Individuals and companies may participate in future education-focused transparency frameworks, designed to help the public and clinicians understand AI capabilities. These are strictly educational—not certifications, validations, or endorsements.
